EDUCATION

- University of British Columbia - Vancouver, Canada

Ph.D. program (ongoing)

Master of Astronomy (May 2013)
Thesis : "10GHz Sky Survey to probe Inflation with CMB Polarization"

- Kyoto University - Kyoto, Japan

Master of Physics and Astronomy (March 2004)
Thesis : "The Performance of the Stereoscopic System of the CANGAROO-III Telescopes"

Bachelor of Physics (March 2001)
Thesis : "The Test of CPT Symmetry in the Decays of Pion"

MAJOR EDUCATION-RALATED WORK

- Construction of the third atmospheric Cherenkov telescope for the CANGAROO-III (December 2002 in Woomera, South Australia)

The main operator to construct Data Collection System, implementing hardware, programming.
By observing Cherenkov images of gamma-ray showers simultaneously with more than one telescope (stereo mode), it is possible to determine the direction of gamma-rays accurately as crossing points of image axes. The purpose of this telescope is to enable to explore the spatial structure of the gamma-ray objects as well as discriminating background cosmic-ray showers more easily. Moreover, the energy resolution of gamma-rays are improved knowing the production height of Cherenkov light. The second, third and fourth telescopes will be installed in 2001, 2002 and 2003, respectively.

- Observation of TeV Gamma-ray objects ( 2003,2002,2001in Woomera, South Australia)

Observation of TeV Gamma-ray from very high energy gamma rays from celestial objects like SNRs, pulsars etc with CANGAROO-III Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescope in Woomera, South Australia
